WADI QELT

The steep cliffs provide the dramatic setting for the Greek Orthodox monastery of St George of Koziba.  The present monastery was built in 1878-1901 but there has been a monastery here since the fifth century.

I ripidi strapiombi formano un drammatico scenario, in cui sorge il Monastero greco-ortodosso di San Giorgio di Koziba.  L'attuale monastero fu costruito tra il 1878 ed il 1901, ma qui c'era già un monastero sin dal quinto secolo.
