Return to the Hermitage

Let us find our Hermitage like Francis.
On hearing these words my heart burst;
It was like falling in love again.
The joy of discovering a yearning
previously unfelt.

A return to the Hermitage would mean
embracing poverty, detachment and liberty.
Freedom to be a servant, a channel of God’s peace.
A chance to rebuild what has fallen
Not in solitude but in fellowship;
Sharing the reality and the joy of fellowship
and the rediscovery of contemplation.

Going back to basics.
Be praised my Lord.

Ritorno all'Eremo

Troviamo il nostro Eremo come Francesco.
Ascoltando queste parole il mio cuore esplose;
Fu come innamorarsi di nuovo.
La gioia di scoprire un desiderio ardente
mai provato prima.

Un ritorno all'Eremo significherebbe
abbracciare la povertà, il distacco e la libertà.
Libertà di essere un servo, un canale della pace di Dio.
Un'occasione di ricostruire ciò che è caduto
Non in solitudine ma in compagnia
Condividendo la realtà e la gioia dell'amicizia
e la riscoperta della contemplazione.

Tornando alle basi.
Sii lodato mio Signore.
